The Golden Age in Ancient Greece

What is a Golden Age?

A Golden Age is a time of peace and prosperity (wealth). Usually new ideas and inventions are made as for achievements in art and architecture (buildings). For example, when Pericles ruled during the Golden Age in Ancient Greece he created three forms of policies. For instance he Glorified Athens (built many important buildings {Parthenon}), Strengthened the Empire (took over the leadership of the Delian League), and Strengthened Democracy (paid government workers).
